How do you think the existence of nearly 3,000 ethnic groups and 800 languages affect life in countries south of the Sahara?
The countries south of the Sahara show more diversity and variety of culture than anywhere in the world. This region speaks more than a one third of the world's total languages. People who speak Bantu language (part of athe Niger-Congo family) are the majority of South Africa. This cultural diversity affects life in the Sahara because there are so many different groups, each with different traditions. Although all these people live in the same place, it doesn't mean they lead the same lifestyle.
Hmmmm. Do you think they watch TV?
