Is something missing?

1.

"while the other gains *the same amount* during that time"

2.

Is the clock a 24 hour clock or 12 hour clock?

Assuming the other gains also 2 minutes at every hour, and the clock is a twelve hour clock, then they will show the same time when one *loses* 6 hours and the other one gains 6 hours.

How long would the first clock *lose* 6 hours?
