1) A particle travels between two parallel vertical walls separated by 16 m. It moves toward the opposing wall at a constant rate of 6.4 m/s. It hits the opposite wall at the same height. The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s. a) What will be its speed when it hits the opposing wall? (answer is 13.82). B -At what angle with the wall will the particle
strike?

2)A projectile of mass 0.208 kg is shot from a cannon. The end of the cannonís barrel is at height 6.8 m, as shown in the figure. The initial velocity of the projectile is 9.6 m/s . The projectile rises to a maximum height of ∆y above the end of the cannonís barrel and strikes the ground a horizontal distance ∆x past the end of the cannonís barrel. A-Find the time it takes for the projectile to reach its maximum height. The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s. B- How long does it take the projectile to hit theground? C-How long does it take the projectile to hit theground?
