How do I write this number in scientific notation

1. 8.68x10^1

2.1,900,000

• algebra - PsyDAG, Friday, June 10, 2011 at 3:56pm

The first is in scientific notation.

1,900,000 = 1.9*10^6

"*" is used to indicate multiplication online to avoid being confused with "x" being used to represent an unknown.
