Hello. Please tell me whether the sentences sound natural English:
1)There are expectations that Congress will approve the bill.
2) There are expectations about his victory.
Does it have the same meaning as "it is expected that Congress will approve..."?

Those are good sentences.

Yes, sentence 1 means the same as "It is expected that Congress will approve . . ."
