Resistors R1= 10ohms, R2= 40 ohms and R3= 70 ohms are connected in series. The total resistance in ohms of this combination is:

Resistors in series have an equivalent resistance of the sum of the individual resistances.
Here we have three resistors with individual resistances equal to 10, 40 and 70Ωs. What is the total resistance? 
do I just add them up?
10+40+70=120
