**Damon**, Monday, May 30, 2011 at 8:13pmsin 30 = opposite / hypotenuse = 1/2

4/x = 1/2

x = 8

by the way:

If it is a right triangle one angle is 90 degrees

the sum of angles is 180

so

90 + 30 + last angle = 180

the last angle is 60
