    "Beats" require a mixing of two or more frequencies.

    You do not get beats "in" a single frequency. You get a regular back and forth oscillation of something.

    If 206 Hz is THE beat frequency of two added waves, then then the added intensity of the two waves reaches a maximum 206 times a second.
