Are husbands older than wives?

do i use the number of how many men are older than wives vs the number of how many women are older than husbands?

or do i have to use individual pairs like one list of husbands ages vs one list of wives ages?

Try using the Chi-Square Test with two cells, one for number of couples with older husbands and the other for number of couples with older wives..
