Can someone give me some information and possible sources regarding some short and long term affects of nazi control over literature and art etc, as well as how the ideas and beliefs of members of German society changed as a result of Germany being 'culturally stunted' due to this control?

It was referred to as Enartete Kunst in German. Germany lost many of its best scientists, artists, movie directors, and classical music composer/conductors during the Nazi period.
