I don't "get" them either. The listed (x,y) points in parentheses do not lie on the curves given by the accompanying equation.
Are you supposed to come up with a new equation in y = mx = b form that is PARALLEL to the indicated equation an goes through the point given?
Equations like
x + 7y = 6
can always be rewritten in y = mx = b form, but that is probably not what they want.
Perhaps you have not copied down the complete problem
