The doctor orders 5 mg/kg medication to be given to a patient who weighs 121 lbs. On hand, we have 0.1 g/ml.
How many mg will the patient receive in her dose?
How many ml will the patient receive to get the ordered dose?

121lbs=121/2.2 kg=55kg

so he needs 5*55mg=275mg for his mass.

at .1g/ml, or 100mg/ml, then the person must need 2.75ml.

check .1g/ml * 2.75ml=.275g=275mg
