Still confused. let's try this: word forms for:

9.035
9.35

Thank you.

  • 4th grade math - ,

    OK.

    Both start with 9.

Now, look at the numbers after the decimal point.

    In 9.035,
0 is in the tenths place
3 is in the hundredths place
5 is in the thousandths place

Since it has three digits after the decimal point, the answer must be in the thousandths.

What do you think the answers are?

  • 4th grade math - ,

    nine and 35 thousand?

  • 4th grade math - ,

Close. It's nine and thirty-five thousandths.
