First find the volume of the large juice can. Since the can is a cylinder, you would use the formula:
V=pir^2h
V=(3.14)(3^2)(10)
V=(3.14)(9)(10)
V=282.6
Divide 231/282.6 to get 0.817 gallons
Find the volume of the can (cylinder).
