the sum of my numbers is 1000,

the diffrence between my two numbers is 100

b=second number

a+b=1000

a=1000-b

a-b=100

1000-b-b=100

1000-2b=100

1000-100=2b

2b=900 Divide with 2

b=450

a=1000-b

a=1000-450

a=550

a+b=550+450=1000

a-b=550-450=100
