A recreation room has the following dimensions.12ft,30ft,8ft,8ft. Carpeting will cost $1.50 a square foot. How many square feet of carpet will be needed and how much will it cost? Include correct units at each stage within your solution.

It would help if you proofread your questions before you posted them. Four dimensions? Which distances apply to the floor? (I would assume 12 by 30.)

Multiply the dimensions of the floor and then multiply that product by $1.50.
