Proofread the following sentence. Insert punctuation as required.

She had some nausea and vomiting, also she had profound diarrhea.

Answer:

She had some nausea and vomiting; also she had profound diarrhea.

NB If I could change the sentence I would write it like this:
She had some nausea and vomiting; she also had profound diarrhea.
