If ifthese are linear equation then:
y=mx+b
for x=1 , y= -3 and m= -5/4
-3=(-5/4)*1+b
-3= -5/4+b
-3+5/4=b
-12/4 + 5/4=b
-7/4=b
b= -7/4
y=mx+b
y=(-5/4)x- 7/4
OR:
y=(-1/4)(5x+7)
