What is the advantage and disadvantage of the survey method on whether a given political candidate will be popular with Latino voters?

advantage: it is cheap.
disadvantage: is is unreliable. Being popular does not mean voting for, and in fact, among Latino voters, voting percentage is dismal in any election.
