Given at least 3 blocks of contrasting colors from the table and guiding 1 hand to hold the block and the other to pick up the block, Shimon will be able to pick up the biggest block with one hand, 4/5 trials.

There is something wrong with the above behavioral objective. Do you know what it is?

This sounds like he has three hands. How is he guiding 1 hand?

Also -- "at least 3 blocks" sounds vague. Would Shimon get confused if there were 20 blocks?

Yes so I think the part where Shimon is picking up th biggest block with one hand should be corrected.... do u have any idea how I could possibly change that..

I'm not sure how he's supposed to guide his hand.

WHat about the above? Wow this is confusing....

ok forgot that part.... i think I got it,.... thanks for your help

You're welcome.

I'm glad you got it. Writing clear objectives is tough.

Yes, based on the given information, there seems to be a contradiction in the behavioral objective mentioned. The objective states that Shimon will be able to pick up the biggest block with one hand in 4 out of 5 trials. However, picking up the biggest block with one hand contradicts the initial condition of having contrasting colors, as mentioned in the first part of the statement.

Contrasting colors typically indicate that the blocks are different in size, shape, or texture, making it difficult to determine which one is the biggest solely based on color. Therefore, the behavioral objective seems to have a logical inconsistency, as it combines two conflicting criteria: contrasting colors and picking up the biggest block. This discrepancy should be addressed and clarified in order to create a clear and achievable objective.
