Compare and contrast:
When you combine two or more different substances,you get a mixture.The substance aren't mixed evenly.Their properties don't change.The substance can be separated from the mixture.For example,sand is a mixture that can be separated into rocks and broken shells by sifting.A mixture in which all the substance are mixed evenly is a solution.Solutions can be combinations of gases,liquids,and solids.
