a computer teacher has 20 students 8 who are women and 12 are men. her other class has 30 people how many must be women so that both classes have the same ratio of women to men

    if class1 has a ratio of women:students as 8:20 = .40, then class2 must have equal probability.

    So then
    .40 = x/30
    x = 12

    so class2 must have 12 female students
