Homework Help: 8th grade physics/science

assume you are standing on a dock and watching the waves pass directly under where you are standing. You count the number of seconds it takes w1,w2,w3 and w4 to pass directly below you. you determine that all four waves below you in two seconds.
info: in the formula the length of each wave from crest to crest is 2 meters. 2 seconds pass in for every 4 waves.
what would be the formula for finding the speed of the wave?
