For what reasons are you in favour of using nuclear energy to generate electricity? What reasons would you be against nuclear power?

For the against part--that would be that it's a big step of risk towards human health. Not safe, and safety should always come first. Big events such as an "earthquake" itself can occur. Country can be destroyed, destruction.

For the favourable part--I guess that its just easier to use, and faster. Does that go with technology and creation of resources? Does it have anything to do with food, clothing?

Is this really it? Is there more to it?

-World uranium supplies may run out in about 50 years.
-Nuclear power stations are at risk from terrorist attack and sabotage.
-The waste that is produced when using nuclear fuel is radioactive and very harmful. It needs to be disposed of carefully

-nuclear energy provides benefits other than electricity generation.
-the amount of waste produced is the least of any major energy production process
-costs are competitive with coal, the major source used in the world
-You only need a very small amount of nuclear fuel to make a lot of energy
-Nuclear fuel does not make harmful greenhouse gases.

I would like more that I have not covered please and thank you.
