this is a linear programming problem

sketch the four lines

a 2x + 4y = 4 (0,1) to (2,0) over it

b 2x + 3y = 12 (0,4) to (6,0) under it

c x = 0

d y = 0

You have a four sided figure , must be inside with corners

(0,1)(2,0) (0,4) (6,0)

find z at each corner

which is biggest?
