/8/+/5/ Simplify??? the lines are supposed to go straight but ya i cant find how to do this or the answer please HELP!!!

The 8 would be 8 because anything outside the absolute value is positive. I get 13 at least the way I learned it.

5=5
8+5=8+5=13
 is absolute value of a number
