What does this quote mean "what affects one directly affects all indirectly" by Martin Luther King Jr.
It means what might affect you and just you in a big way might have "ripple effects" on everyone else.
Like dropping a pebble into water. It affects the immediate space where the pebble landed in a big way (SPLASH), but the whole area around it is still affected, but not as dramatically. (ripples!)
Get what I mean?
