Daniel gave 4/5 of his stickers to Javier. Javier’s collection of stickers increased to 64. If Javier had 28 stickers in the beginning, how many stickers did Daniel have in the beinging?
can u please show the work and explain how u got it...so i could undersatnd thank you!!

math
Ms. Sue,
Javier:
64  28 = 36
Daniel gave Javier 36 stickers.
Daniel:
4/5x = 36
x = 36 / (4/5)
x = 36 * (5/4)
x = 180/4
x = 45
Daniel started with 45.
math
Um,
If Daniel gives Javier 4/5 of his stickers and Javier's collection increases by 64, Daniel gave him 64 stickers.
If 4/5 of Daniel's original stickers is 64:
4/5= 64 stickers
64/4= 16 so 1/5= 16
16•5= 80 so 5/5= 80
Daniel had 80 stickers in the beginning.
math
JOHN CENA,
64  28 = 36 sticker increase
Let d = daniel's original sticker amount
4/5 D = 36
d = 45
