Homework Help: Biology - GI Tract

Posted by Lena on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 9:13pm.

I have a question about Vit B12.
Where is it absorbed in the body?
In lecture, the professor stated once that it's absorbed in the small intestine and then later stated it was the large intestine. I'm thinking small intestine makes more sense but I'd like to make sure. Thanks.
