Is it possible that waves can be turned into a sourse for energy and/or power ?

Of course it can, but the problem is in "harnessing" that power. In 2008, the first experimental wave farm was opened in Portugal, at the Aguçadoura Wave Park.

Sunlight is electrmagnetic waves;
a. photosynthesis converts it into food which is the source of energy and pewer for plants and animals
b. it can be converted to chemical energy in solar cell which can be used a source for energy and power later on
