recall that the volume of rectangular prism is given by
V = L*W*H
where L=length, W=width, H=height
substituting the given:
V = 2*3*5
V = 30 cubic cm
recall that the surface area of rectangular prism is given by
SA = 2LH + 2WH + 2LW
substituting the values:
SA = 2*2*5 + 2*3*5 + 2*2*3
SA = 62 square cm
