Homework Help: critical thinking

A paradigm shift brings a fresh way of looking at the world. Give an example from the field of medicine that shows how normal science has experienced a paradigm shift in the last 200 years. For example, at one time, physicians did not believe that germs lived on human hands. They operated with bare, unwashed hands. The entire framework for studying and preventing infections changed with the new knowledge about microorganisms.
