Homework Help: english

the assignment is to write a paragraph explaining the key differences between the four types of writing. I need clarification on whether the four types of writing should be summary,analysis,synthesis,evaluation or narrative, descriptive, comparative, expository. I know the first refer to critical reading so I am more inclined to choose the other four choices.

  Hi. I would say the four types your teacher is probably looking for are narrative, descriptive, comparitive, and expository. If you go to the website Instructional Images and type in four writing types, you will get a good description of each one. Good luck!
