Homework Help: Ms. Sue

Ms. Sue Im going to do a biography on a well known person from Victorian era. Or anything like that. Like the first chapter was Colonies in the wildnerness, and then the second chapter was Building a nation. Im trying to look for a well known famous person in those times, that has made many achievements. Elizabeth Garrett Anderson is mentioned, but I want a person who has done much more, and is known much more. Do you know person from this time, that has made many achievements and is well known?
