Homework Help: Algebra 2

i actually have two questions.

- the edge of one cube is 4 m shorter than the edge of a second cube. the volumes of the two cubes differ by 1216m^3. find the edge of the smaller cube.

- the sum of the squares of the two larger of three consecutive even integers is 12 less than 4 times the square of the smaller one. find the intergers
