That depends upon the total number of points for the class.
it depends on the percent weight of the final exam. (e.g. 40% of your grade, 35% of your grade, etc.) assuming your grading scheme for a B is around 83%... and assume your final exam is worth 40% of your overall grade and the rest of your grade (83.17%) is 60% of your overall grade:
total grade= (0.8317 X 0.60) + (0.83 X 0.40) X 100% = 83.10%
that would be your grade if you got a B (ie. 83%) on your final. i hope you get the formula.
