First you have to recognize the terms you can combine, in this case a negative 4T and a negative 3T, which gives you a negative 7T. so now your problem looks like 6T^2 - 7T + 2. to factor it out you have to do a kind of reverse foil, see what term multiplied by what other term gives you that original problem. the answer is (2T-1)(3T-2). you can see by doing foil now that this is correct because you would multiply the first terms of 2T and 3T to get 6T^2, then 2T times -2 to get -4T, then -1 times 3T to get -3T and finally -1 times -2 to get positive 2... combine and you get 6T^2 -7T+2. so again, the answer is (2t-1)(3t-2).
