What are the different types of intolerances not including food and allergies?

For example racial, gender, sexual activity i.e homosexuals (what would be a name for that sort of intolerance?) and I can't think of anymore.

Also what are some good short stories, newspaper/magazine articles, song lyrics, plays, films, artwork, advertisement, novel, cartoons and/or poems that displays intolerance?

Just provide the link below and say what type of intolerance it shows :) Thanks :) :)

Also thanks to all the people who helped me with the FIRST writing task of the destination/adventure/journey etc. I got 4.5/5 (because i didn't have time to complete the last paragraph, which had one word from the spelling list) and overall 26.5/30 (lost three marks in the comprehension part:/ ).
You know who you are :)

Congratulations!! Nice grades! =)

As you read through the various articles/websites, work on thinking of stories, songs, etc., that involve intolerance.

I'm still having trouble finding something.

When it comes to types of intolerance not related to food or allergies, there are several examples that you mentioned such as racial, gender, and sexual intolerance. A specific term for intolerance towards homosexuality is homophobia, which refers to prejudice, discrimination, or hatred against individuals who identify as homosexual.

To find examples of literature, art, and media that demonstrate intolerance, you can use different search engines and databases. Here are some suggestions to explore different forms of intolerance:

1. Short stories: "Desiree's Baby" by Kate Chopin showcases racial intolerance.
2. Newspaper/Magazine article: "The New Jim Crow" by Michelle Alexander discusses racial intolerance and its impact on the criminal justice system. You can find articles by searching for relevant keywords and authors in online newspaper archives or databases like JSTOR.
3. Song Lyrics: "Same Love" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis addresses the issue of homophobia and promotes equality and acceptance.
4. Plays: "A Raisin in the Sun" by Lorraine Hansberry touches on racial intolerance and the African American experience in the 1950s.
5. Films: "American History X" explores themes of racism and white supremacy in American society.
6. Artwork: "The Problem We All Live With" by Norman Rockwell portrays Ruby Bridges, the first African American child to attend an all-white school, highlighting racial intolerance.
7. Advertisements: The "Love Has No Labels" campaign by the Ad Council challenges bias and prejudice in various forms.
8. Novels: "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee examines racial intolerance and injustice through the eyes of a young girl.
9. Cartoons: "Zootopia" is a children's movie that uses animal characters to tackle issues of prejudice and discrimination.
10. Poems: "Still I Rise" by Maya Angelou addresses racial and gender intolerance.

To find links to these examples, you can search for their titles along with terms like "analysis," "themes," or "intolerance" in search engines, online libraries, or platforms like YouTube or Spotify. This will help you find resources that discuss and analyze these works specifically in relation to intolerance.
