1) Dorian and his pure, innocent appearance are symbols of bourgeois hypocrisy whereas the corrupting picture could be regarded as a symbol of the immorality of the Victorian middle class.
2) The story is told by a third person narrator, who is unobtrusive since he never intervenes in the narration and he never addresses the reader directly.
3) The point of view adopted is Lord Henry’s in the first part and Dorian’s in the second part of the story.
