**Damon**, Monday, February 21, 2011 at 7:19amdy/dx = slope = m = 4x-1

m = 4(-1) - 1 = -5

so

y = -5 x + b

find b

13 = -5(-1) + b

b = 8

so

y = -5 x + 8
