At an ice hockey match 3/5 of the spectators were boys and 1/10 were girls.

The remainder of the spectators were adults.

Calculate the fraction of the spectators who were children?

3/5 boys, 1/10 girls, the remainder were adults

First, find the LCD, 10

3/5 = 6/10

6/10 boys + 1/10 girls = 7/10 total children that were spectators
