The year 1991 was the last year of the twentieth century whose number is a palindrome, that is, reads the same backward and forward. How many years between the years 2000 and 3000 will be palindromic?

For this period, all years begin with 2, so they must end with a 2.
The next digit is "free", i.e. we have a free choice of all the digits between 0 and 9.
The third digit has to be the same as the second, if the number has to be a palindrome.
So how many palindromic year are there between 2000 and 3000?
