how do you solve the exponential equation, 12^x = 14^3x?

If someone could show me step by step I would greatly appreciate it.

(12)^x = (14)^3x.

X*log12 = 3X*log14,

X * 1.08 = 3X * 1.15,

1.08X = 3.45X,

1.08X - 3.45X = 0,

-2.37X = 0,

X = 0 / -2.37 = 0.

CHECK:

(12)^0 = (14)^0,

Any number raised to the zero power=1:

1 = 1.
