Homework Help: science

My son is in a group with two other boys and they need to construct a model of an earthquake resistant house. Can you give me a good website with some ideas on materials they should use and pointers on how to construct it? Or you might have some helpful suggestions yourself. Their teacher told them they can have some adult input when doing this. My husband will help them along. Thank You in advance for any advice you give.

This makes me think of Frank Lloyd Wright who built the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. During an earthquake sections of the hotel moved, making it earthquake proof. Try some of the following sites for help:
