Homework Help: groundwater science

Consider water in a well, and a point of measurement at depth below the surface of the water. True or False: if the point of measurement is located at an elevation of 2,000 ft. above mean sea level, and that point of measurement is 40 ft. below the water surface in the well, then the head of water in the well is 2,040 ft.
