(5 x 50) + (5 x 70) - 25 = total area of the crosslands.
As for how much cost is required, just times the cost of constrution. Because I dunno what you mean by "Rs. 20"

Is a crossland a road? If so, I agree with Hayyley's answer. The 25 is subtracted because of an intersection that does not have to be counted twice.
