4) 1984 can be regarded as an anti-utopian novel since it shows a possible future society with the purpose of ridiculing (synonym?) existing conditions of society.
5)Orwell’s imaginary society is under constant control of Big Brother and is in a perpetual state of war.
6)People’s life is deprived of any kind of privacy since it is constantly monitored by the telescreen which can’t be switched off.
7) Anyone who dares (to) rebel against the party rules is imprisoned, tortured and finally liquidated. Orwell demonstrates to have an acute sense of history. He sides (takes sides) with the millions of victims who were persecuted and murdered in the name of totalitarian ideologies (Or who fell victim to the abuses of totalitarianism?).
