HIV is spread by sharing drug equipment, needles/and or syringes.

Two causes of HIV and AIDS are:

1. Sexual Transmission:
HIV is mainly transmitted thual contact, particularly unprotected , l, and oral sex. When a person engages in sexual activities with an infected individual without using barrier methods like condoms, there is a high risk of contracting the virus. Sexual transmission can occur between opposite-sex and same-sex partners.

2. Blood Transmission:
HIV can also be transmitted through exposure to infected blood or blood products. This can happen through sharing needles or syringes among intravenous drug users, as well as in certain medical and occupational settings involving blood transfusions, organ transplantation, and accidental needle injuries. Inadequately screened blood donations can also be a source of HIV transmission.

It's important to note that HIV cannot be transmitted through casual contact such as hugging, shaking hands, or sharing food and drinks. It is primarily spread through specific routes that involve direct contact with infected bodily fluids, as mentioned above.
