Physical changes are those that do not involve a change in chemical composition. Some examples are changing the shape of an object, the size of an object, changing its color, its volume, its mass, freezing or boiling water, changing water from liquid to gas, etc.
Chemical changes involve changing the chemical composition. Any chemical reaction involves a chemical change.
