A force of 100 Newtons acts upwards on a mass of 50 kg, another force of 60 newtons acts on the same mass downwards. calculate the accleration in which direction will be the accleration

    Fn = 100 - 60 = 40N, upward.
    Fn = Net force.

    a = Fn / m = 40 / 50 = 0.8m/s^2 Upward.
